What do you get?

The NHS is an excellent service, however it can’t always meet the needs of parents; appointments can sometimes be rushed, are not always offered in your home and you may have to wait in all day. Our essential postnatal package is perfect for second (or third or fourth!) time parents and provides four appointments spread across 2 weeks with an experienced midwife, in your own home at a convenient time (no waiting around for the midwife!) and includes the universal screening offered to all newborns. Each appointment usually lasts around an hour and replaces the NHS care. It includes:

Focussed care and support for the mother
Physical and emotional wellbeing checks
Expert feeding support
Baby care advice and guidance
Newborn screening (Newborn Bloodspot Screening) and regular weighing
Parenting expertise

Experience unique support and care from two experienced midwives in the early weeks with your new baby. Full private postnatal care includes:

An antenatal appointment to meet with your midwives, including colostrum harvesting kit
Loan of TENS machine and books/resources
Access to your 2 named midwives over 4 weeks via Whatsapp for any questions and concerns
8 unhurried postnatal visits spread over 4 weeks once you return home
An essential postnatal care pack
Guidance and advice on newborn baby care
Newborn Screening & weighing
Expert support on feeding
Appointments at set times, with an experienced midwife that delivers above and beyond the basic NHS care

Premium Postnatal Care

What do you get?

It can be very daunting having a new baby; the premium private postnatal care service is designed to support you at an exceptional level, and includes lots of focus on helping your body to recover from birth. Premium care includes:

An antenatal appointment to meet with your midwife, including colostrum harvesting kit
Loan of TENS machine, books/resources
24 hour on-call for the first 3 days following return from hospital
Access to your 2 named midwives over 6 weeks, for any questions or concerns
10 unhurried postnatal visits spread over 6 weeks (including a hospital visit if required)
A luxury postnatal care pack
Guidance and advice on newborn baby care
Newborn Screening & weighing
Expert feeding support
Baby massage techniques session
A Mummy MOT at 6 weeks with an experienced women’s health physiotherapist

What do you get?

Breastfeeding is the best start you can give to your baby, and can be a beautiful bonding experience between you and your new child, but like any skill it can be tricky to master in those first days and weeks after birth. As midwives and mothers ourselves, we fully appreciate that breastfeeding is a skill that you and your baby will learn together, which takes time, patience and practice. We have helped hundreds of families to overcome their breastfeeding struggles and become happy and confident with feeding and caring for their babies.

We offer unhurried visits in the comfort of your own home for families requiring additional support with breastfeeding concerns. Our appointments are individualised, non-judgemental and mother-led. We include text and email support for a further 7 days following the appointment.

We are also trained in assessing tongue tie.

Our fee for an individual breastfeeding session is £250
