What do you get?
If your baby has a tongue-tie it may cause problems with feeding. NHS midwives and doctors do not always check for tongue tie, but if you suspect this could be the case ask your baby to be assessed. Tongue-tie division is a quick, simple procedure to release the a fold of skin that connects the tongue to the floor of the mouth.
Angela is usually able to offer tongue-tie division in the comfort of your own home and can usually arrange to see you within 48 hours. Angela has extensive breastfeeding knowledge and is able to provide support and feeding advice following division.
The simplest way to book an appointment is to text Angela with your email address and postcode to 07877 862 444.
The fee for assessment, release and feeding advice is £150
Edit: NSM can confirm that we are able to offer tongue tie services as per normal and are not affected in anyway by recent questions raised over CQC registration. Independent Midwives providing care in the woman’s home have always been and will continue to be exempt from CQC registration. 8th January 2019
